Manuscript Format Guidelines

Authors must follow the format below when submitting their manuscripts to the Decipher Ayurveda (Dec. Ayur.). Submissions that do not adhere to these guidelines may be returned for revision before review.

1. General Formatting

File Format: Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx)

Page Size: A4 (8.27 × 11.69 inches)

Margins: 1-inch (2.54 cm) on all sides

Font: Times New Roman, 12-point

Line Spacing: Double-spaced

Alignment: Justified

Paragraph Indentation: First line of each paragraph should be indented (0.5 inches)

2. Manuscript Structure

Title Page (First Page)

Title: Concise, specific, and informative (16-point font, bold, centered)

Author(s) Name(s): Full names of all authors (First Name, Middle Initial, Last Name)

Affiliations: Department, Institution, City, Country for each author

Corresponding Author: Name, email, and phone number

Abstract (Second Page)

Word Limit: 250 words

Structure: A summary of the study including:

Background

Methods

Results

Conclusion

Keywords: 3-6 keywords (separated by commas)

3. Main Text Sections

Introduction

Provide background information and clearly state the research problem.

Define the objectives and the significance of the study.

Materials and Methods

Clearly describe materials, experimental setup, and methodology used.

Ensure sufficient details for reproducibility.

Results and Discussion

Present findings logically with clear explanations.

Use figures and tables to enhance clarity.

Compare results with previous studies and discuss implications.

Conclusion

Summarize key findings.

Highlight the significance of the research and potential applications.

Acknowledgments (if applicable)

Mention funding sources, institutional support, or contributors.

4. References

Follow APA (7th edition) / Harvard style citation format.

5. Figures and Tables
